- Seeing Pastor Kim (our Children's Pastor) and her horse Stomp
- HOT!
- Hot Dogs, Corn Dog, Bucket-O-Fries, Lots of Water
- Cows, Sheep, Goats, Llamas, Alpacas
- 5 year old boys rolling in the dirt
- 6:20 pm: Pastor Kim finally in the Exhibition Barrel Run line up (# 83 & #90 out of 100+) which started @ 4 pm
- Shade and not so HOT
- Talking with Pastor Kim, Jess Fetrow (who can't pick a low # out of a bucket), Mike & Tami, the Dixon Girls, the Parsons
- 7:35 pm walking to the Grandstand to see the Rough Truck contest.
- Stop for a pee break. Then a fill up of Iced Tea and Lemonade.
- Head towards the Grandstand infield...WOW, so many rednecks. (Don't get your knickers in a bunch, my hubby is a redneck.)
- Realize that it is standing room only and kids are TIRED
- Suggest we check out the other side of the Grandstand.
- Mr. Man realizes we are heading to the parking lot
- Crying ensues
- Other moms nod and smile in sympathy (or more like "better you than me")
- Full tantrum beside car as big SUV waits for my compact car-size spot. Move on moron, nothing to see here.
- A/C
- Begging and crying for me to turn back most of the 30 minute drive home
- Falls asleep 5 minutes before we get home @ 8:30 pm
- Strip Mr. Man's clothes off in the hallway because that is as far as he made it into the house
- Put him in the tub crying
- Dressed and in bed by 8:45 pm
Did I mention that the Hartford County Fair is in the town of Croton which is in Licking county.
Drag Races @ National Trail Raceway next Saturday. Woohoo.
